Game Rules

Welcome to One Piece Battlefront — an unofficial fan‑made card game inspired by the world of One Piece.

1. Objective

Your goal is to defeat the opponent by knocking out all 10 of their characters or destroying their ship.

2. Deck Structure

• 10 Character Cards
• 1 Ship Card
• Support cards are drawn during gameplay, not included in the deck

3. Battlefield Layout

• Frontline: Up to 5 active characters
• Support Row: Up to 5 backup characters
• KO Row: Defeated characters

4. Turn Structure

1. Start Phase: Resolve effects (poison, burn, regen, etc.)
2. Draw Phase: Draw 1 support card
3. Main Phase: Use moves, swap characters, activate support cards
4. End Phase: Apply lingering effects

5. Character Moves

Each character has 2 moves. Moves may:

• Deal damage
• Stun, paralyze, or KO enemies
• Heal allies
• Apply buffs or debuffs
• Trigger special effects (zombies, puppet control, etc.)

6. Status Effects

• Stun: Character cannot act next turn
• Paralyze: 50% chance to fail action
• Burn: Takes 10 damage per turn
• Poison: Takes 20 damage per turn
• Regen: Heals 10 HP per turn
• Half Damage: Character deals 50% damage

7. Ships

Ships provide powerful effects and have their own HP. If a ship reaches 0 HP, the player loses.

8. Support Cards

Support cards are drawn each turn and can:

• Heal allies
• Buff damage
• Apply debuffs
• Trigger special events (Buster Call, Celestial Dragon, etc.)

9. Winning the Game

• KO all 10 enemy characters
• OR destroy the enemy ship
